It used to be that if an associate didn’t want to do things the way they’ve always been done, somehow his or her allegiance to the company fell into question. After all, who would dare to think the current processes could be inefficient or unnecessary? As our Telecom Consulting professionals note, this backwards way of thinking is now giving way to embracing originality and change. Today, we welcome fresh ideas and opportunities to improve processes and challenge the status quo.
Training is another area our Telecom Consulting experts are pleased to see reconsidered. Not so long ago, onboarding was something that happened for a few days, then off associates went to sink or swim. Today, it’s a process that brings new team members into the fold and continues to guide them as they ascend to larger roles. More importantly, training is no longer thought to be a company-driven program based on job-specific needs. Instead, today’s ongoing learning means associates have a say in what they want to learn and how it will support their ambitions.
